All About Me
My name is Kristi Bedard and I have 30 years of experience in Early Education-Infant through 5 years old, and elementary education specializing in behavior intervention in both fields. I believe that supporting children while they build their confidence, social/emotional skills and their empathy is the core of all other growth. I support children while learning by creating enriching environments that encourage exploration and emergent, hands on experiences. Within this approach I include all realms of education while empowering the children to learn at their own developmental pace.
I am a seven generation Vermonter and have a large extended family. I have three grown amazing children. I have one granddaughter who is almost two and one granddaughter arriving in September. Being a grammie is the best! I feel extremely fortunate on all levels of my life, my family, my friends and my amazing jobs as the Expanded Learning Program Family Support Coordinator and one of the coordinators for the Unified MAUSD ELP program.
